Our 4-star Hotel Prinzessin Elisabeth, built in 2000, is situated in Munich’s old town, the legendary “Glockenbachviertel”. In a quiet side street close to the river Isar, you will be greeted with timeless elegance. You will reach the world famous Deutsches Museum in a few minutes. The bus stop right in front of the hotel takes you to Munich’s inner city or the Theresienwiese, where the Oktoberfest takes place, within a short trip.

Depending on the guests taste Shane and his team will spontaneously create a menu. There is no limit to creativity - which suits the artistic flair in the “Glockenbachviertel”.

„Just cook it!“
"Shane’s Restaurant" combines original, true and various cooking with a multicultural touch. Shane McMahon's cooking is affected by a European-Asian style with different seasonal specials. "I do like cooking with ingredients that are typical for the region and the current season. Spices give the very special taste - they may have their origin further away, explains McMahon. Whether a pumpkin with lemon chicken in curry-curcuma-mousse, crème of cauliflower-wasabi soup or a braised roast - Shane McMahons motto is "just cook it". A delicacy in the new "Shane's Restaurant": the "surprise-menu. According to the individual tastes of his guests McMahon and his team compose the menu spontaneously. They give their fancy full scope and create what is at hand. Shanes first-class but still down-to-earth cooking excellently fits to us and the artist-flair of the "Glockenbachviertel”.

The Hotel Prinzessin Elisabeth is situated in Munich’s old town, in the legendary “Glockenbachviertel”, close to the business centres and smart shopping passages. A short walk will get you to the Deutsche Museum. Culturally, Bavaria`s capital is offering exhibitions and theatre at its best. Only a few minutes from the city centre with the town hall right on the famous Marienplatz, the Viktualienmarkt and the Gärtnerplatz. Even the Theresienwiese, on which the Oktoberfest takes place, is easily reachable.
