On April 1st 2012 we opened a new hotel in the Rhine metropolis of Duesseldorf!
With its central but calm location, Derag Livinghotel Duesseldorf is the perfect starting point for business meetings, sightseeing and recreation. Situated in a quiet side street, the Livinghotel is near the well known Friedrichstrasse, next to St. Peters Church, one of Duesseldorf's most photographed tourist attractions. The so-called "KÖ" – Dusseldorf's legendary luxury shopping street Königsallee – is only a few minutes away by foot, as is the historic city centre. The central train station and an outstanding selection of restaurants, bars and trendy hotspots for every taste and wallet-size are in the immediate vicinity. A streetcar stop and taxi stand are right across the street. A supermarket, open daily until 10:00 p.m. except Sundays, offers the perfect shopping opportunity. The hotel's excellent traffic connections to the "Düsseldorf Süd" highway interchange brings you both to the airport as well as the trade fairgrounds within 25 minutes.
Hotel rooms and serviced apartments with the most modern comforts
On April 1st 2012, Derag Livinghotels opened their 14th house, featuring a total of 170 hotel rooms/apartments. Its aim is offering suitable accommodations to the price-sensitive target group of young business or private travelers. Both short-term travelers as well as guests staying longer than four nights will find the optimal space for living and working here.
All apartments include a complete kitchenette that enables guests to take care of their own cooking needs. The kitchenettes are furnished with a refrigerator, induction hob, microwave as well as a coffee machine or electric kettle and tableware. The timelessly, comfortably and conveniently furnished rooms have modern technology such as flat-screen televisions (32-47 inch) or laptop safes with recharging outlets. Free WLAN and LAN as well as free Pay-TV may also be available to guests.
In the apartment area, individual services can be selected from a broad array, e.g. breakfast rolls, shopping service or a flexible cleaning service.
The Livinghotel also features a modern fitness area stretching over two floors and connected by a flight of stairs. Cardio-machines are on one floor; weight-training machines are on the other. This guarantees that hotel guests can easily complete 90% of all common circuit-training variants usually found in fitness studios.
Derag Livinghotel Duesseldorf has three conference rooms of 70-80 m², which can be combined or separated depending on need. Up to 200 persons can meet here. Furthermore, there are are three separate boardrooms, suitable for conferences with up to 15 participants.
